The farm holiday is immersed in the uncontaminated nature of the typical landscapes of the Tuscan hills where one may spend glorious days of rest and relaxation, appreciating the sounds and smells of nature.
The farm holiday complex, which is open all year round, is run like a family business, indeed the owners have direct contact with the guests.
The surrounding environment is characterised by wide meadows, woods, vineyards and olive groves, a landscape which welcomes long walks or bicycle rides, even along the most hidden pathways.
The farmhouse holiday complex has 12 apartments, each with a kitchen, bedrooms, a lounge and bathroom. In addition, they are equipped with running water (fit for drinking), electricity, self-contained central heating, air conditioning, satellite TV and a telephone.
The farmhouse is deeply rooted and well integrated within the territory; and it is exactly for this reason that the activities offered bring the guests close to the traditions of the area.
Every year in the village where the farm is situated, there are a number of fairs: in February, there is the children’s carnival, during June-July, there is the pizza and beer “sagra” (festival), from the 15th to the 20th of August the choux “sagra”, symbolised by a large cake decorated with choux, placed on a cart, which each year represents the various national monuments.
The farmhouse is situated about 1 Km from the village of Orentano, (a small hamlet of the town of Castelfranco di Sotto – Pisa) 5 Km from the Altopascio exit from the A11 Florence-coast motorway, 15 Km from Montecatini Terme, 35 Km from Pisa, 50 Km from Florence and 30 Km from the coastal resort of Viareggio.
The farmhouse holiday complex has been awarded three stars, symbolised by ears of corn, with the aim of concentrating its activities on those aspects which it values: care of the countryside, the direct contact with the various farm business activities made up of the seasons, flavours and traditions, but in particular people.
